remnantofahero:

so in a fit of inspiration while waiting for War Eternal I had a thought… hey…. what if I wrote my own “Requiem”….?

Turns out Twine is super easy to use and writing in first person is wild but I can fake a meandering character-driven stream of consciousness as well as the next guy.

A thought had been running through my head since the moment I first saw the body, and no matter how hard I tried to turn my attention to something, anything else, it kept echoing in my mind.

It didn’t used to be like this.

It never used to feel like I could lose. Like one major setback meant the whole game was over.

It used to be I could just dust myself off, count the dead, send the letters to their families, and figure out our next move.

Painless. Easy. Effective.

Wasn’t that was why they wanted me, once? That was why they handed me the title, the power, the authority. Pact Commander.

Because I was effective.

Not all sylvari make it out of the jungle unscathed…

@hemlockein‘s gorgeous commander, Padraign. ❤ Her legs were torn off in the jungle, but were able to grow back due to some blighting fluid shenanigans. What grew back was evidently mordrem influenced. They’re tenuous now, crumpling on occasion, leaving her distressed and vulnerable whenever they fail around others and her weakness is made obvious.

PSA: The New Mount Will Require 12 Total PoF Mastery Points

rata-novus:

If you didn’t catch the dev stream about the new mount and the masteries tied to it (here’s a shorter clip detailing the masteries), it will require 12 total Path of Fire mastery points to complete (the first mastery needs three mastery points, the second needs 4, and the third and final needs 5).

I personally was anticipating it requiring only six, as the previous mastery needed five, so just a heads-up if you’re running low on PoF mastery points!
