RTC-003: Infinite Icebrood

Another rare tyrian creature(s) spotted! Is it an Inquest experiment gone wrong or just a cruel joke from Jormag? Or did these icebrood simply go on a field trip together to enjoy the sights of the Shiverpeak Mountains all the while multiplying endlessly because they can? It might be latter! If I had the chance to go on a Norn ale tour, I’d definitely do it.

That being said, you probably shouldn’t bother them Commander, since they keep on spawning… C-Commander? HELLO?!

A compilation of all the Aurene animations I did for the “Aurene’s Ascension” cinematic in Guild Wars 2: Living World, Season 4 Episode 6. From baby, to teen, to our beautiful ascended Elder Dragon.

I’m really grateful that I got the opportunity to tackle so much creature animation when it’s not something that I ever studied or practiced very much before this cutscene. I learned so much during the course of creating these animations and am eager for the next set of challenges hovering on the horizon!

Worked on this while on the wait for War Eternal to go with a fake Expac poster, and now it fits better than I expected kgjfdk

REALLY happy w how the crystal dragon looks! took me 6 fuckinnn hours using photoshop and sai though I might give the bottom part a bit more pampering

I had a dream today when I napped about Anet releasing a new WvW map for GW2 and it was such a big thing it was in the news on TV and the news reporter said “…All in all, the new map surely is a masterwork of modern nihilism” and I said “what the fuck does that even mean?” out loud and suddenly people from tumblr (I don’t know who exactly I just knew it were tumblr people???) popped up from behind the sofa, lecturing me on what Nihilism is and I went all “Nononono I know what nihilism is but what does it mean in the context of a map…” and then a mini lord faren (you know, the one with the undies) popped up on my shoulder whispering into my ear “it means you have to run” and then I woke up.

That sounds completely possible.

I just imagined the whole scene and I’m dying
