For Orivan: 5, 17, 40?

5.) On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

– You’d probably find some change, lint, bowstring wax, some field rations, and millet for Kobibi of course! (I love this question lol)

17.) What was your character’s favorite toy as a child?

– Favorite toy, huh? Hm. Probably his toy bow and arrow set. It’s how he learned to use a real one. He’d fire an arrow at a tree and Kobani, his white moa he raised from an egg, would go and fetch it for him.

40.) How does your character treat people in service jobs?

– Orivan has seen his days of hard work and knows that people in service jobs have a rough job. He is extremely polite, tips very well, and is understanding and kind. Before he leaves, he makes sure his table is as tidy as possible and stacks the plates so his server doesn’t have to work too hard.

16 19 20 22 23 for nadir

16.) Which does your character idealize most: happiness or success?

– Nadir idealizes happiness over success, however he believes if you are happy, then you have succeeded.

19.) What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?

– His biggest relationship flaw is that he’s afraid of being hurt or betrayed. It’s doomed many relationships before, to the point that he hides who he is (a Sunspear) just to try and make the relationship work. That lie by omission usually does the relationship in.

20.) In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?

– Nadir compares himself to others based on success and happiness. He does it more for self criticism, as he is incredibly insecure in his identity as a Sunspear, especially one that deals in necromancy.

22.) What does your character like in other people?

– One of the traits Nadir admires the most is loyalty and commitment. If someone can commit and be loyal to a cause or a person, he has more respect for them.

23.) What does your character dislike in other people?

– He dislikes cynicism, bigotry, bias, prejudice, and those who can’t commit to any one thing.

11 13 15 and 18 for ihemiri also

11.) In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?

– She was most afraid when she left Vabbi to try and get to Lion’s Arch. She enlisted the help of the Order of Shadows and Order of Whispers to get her to her destination, but it wasn’t easy and she was terrified. She has nightmares of those who accompanied her and weren’t so fortunate to make it out.

13.) Is your character bothered by the sight of blood? If so, in what way?

– Blood doesn’t bother her. She’s a necro for goodness sakes. The only time blood bothers her is if it’s from a loved one.

15.) Is your character preoccupied with money or material possession? Why or why not?

– Ikhemiri lives a nomadic life and isn’t particularly worried about money or material possessions. The only time she worries about money is if she can’t afford to feed herself.

2.) What is/was your character’s relationship with their mother like?

– Dubhdara loves being in the presence of the Pale Mothers boughs. It’s the most comforting thing in the world for him and he’ll never get tired of it.

4.) Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?

– He witnessed his wife, Ethena, die at the hands of Balthazar. Dragons Watch knows this, and it changed him radically. Sure, he saw her get hurt during the Jungle Campaign, but this only fueled him to be more protective of her. He has since dedicated his life to being her personal guardian.

5.) On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

– You’d probably find some food that Ethena made for him, like cookies or whatever, along with a journal, uh…maybe something he found for Ethena that he bought, like a new ingredient for food or a random trinket.

8.) Has your character ever fired a gun? If so, what was their first target?

– Yes, he uses a rifle regularly. His first target was a Nightmare Courtier, and while it was hard for him to pull the trigger at first, he did.

10.) Does your character feel more comfortable with more clothing, or with less clothing?

– He prefers more clothes, but only if they’re Sylvari made. He feels strange in anything else.

talk-of-tyria:

Crystal Desert – Dragonfall – Crystal Bloom Outpost
Crystal Bloom Knight: So, what are those shadows everyone’s fighting? Are they undead?
Crystal Bloom Guardian: No, just normal dead. Heard someone from the Priory talking about how they’re cursed to fight Balthazar’s Eternals.
Crystal Bloom Knight: Cursed?
Crystal Bloom Guardian: I wouldn’t worry about it. This place came from the Mists. The rules on what’s dead and undead are all different.
Crystal Bloom Knight: Little too familiar for my tastes.

Someone throw these at me please, I’m working on developing my characters and refining their stories.

So, while replaying War Eternal, I found a “wi-fi” communication spot where Sayida is giving a status update and then Taimi breaks in with *manical laughter* “Die, Branded scum! *heavy machine gun fire* “Die!!” *evil Taimi laughter and gunfire continues* If you take requests, I’d love to have this! Also, really any of Taimi’s dialogue from this episode, her voice acting is phenomenal

talk-of-tyria:

I do take requests for dialogue (story and event dialogue included), but in this case, @guildwuff2 has already done us all the favor of recording and posting it! Here’s the post.
