19.) What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?

– Dubhdara can get jealous or overprotective veeeeery easy. If anyone threatens Ethena, even with criticism, he can get mean. This hasn’t destroyed any of his relationships yet.

20.) In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?

– Dubhdara compares himself to others for self-validation, to reaffirm his strong protective nature, in a sort of ‘if they can do it, so can I’ mentality.

21.) If something tragic or negative happens to your character, do they believe they may have caused or deserved it, or are they quick to blame others?

– Ethena’s ‘death’ caused him to think it was his fault. He blamed himself and went into a panic attack. He still blames himself for her ‘death’ even though she came back to life.

Fionndara: 4, 5, 10, 14

4.) Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?

– Fionndara witnessed the Shadow of the Dragon attack the Pale Tree. It was the one time in his life he felt helpless and unable to change fate. It fueled his drive to protect anyone and everyone he could from the threat of the Elder Dragons.

5.) On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

– A whet stone, oil to condition leather, maybe a journal and a medical kit. His pockets are pretty tidy!

10.) Does your character feel more comfortable with more clothing, or with less clothing?

– Fionndara doesn’t feel comfortable in anything but his heavy armor. He’s always on guard. Even his casual clothes are some sort of armor, at least a light leather armor.

14.) Does your character remember names or faces easier?

– Fionndara is good at remembering both faces and names equally.

Diarmuid: 11, 12, 16

11.) In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?

– Diarmuid was most afraid when he realized Mordremoth was speaking to him and he had little to no control over himself. He was terrified to see his body do horrible and hideous things to others while he was trapped in his mind. As a Mordrem, he was a monster, and in a way he still sees himself as a monster and is terrified of his own reflection.

12.)

In what situation was your character the most calm they’ve ever been?

– Diarmuid was the most calm when he could no longer hear Mordremoths voice booming in his head. That silence was deafening, but it was a pleasant silence that filled him with comfort. He could finally control himself.

16.) Which does your character idealize most: happiness or success?

– Diarmuid used to idealize success over happiness. As of right now, he’s struggling to find his place in the world once more, so happiness and success don’t mean much at the moment.

Birce: 14, 18, 38, 39

14.) Does your character remember names or faces easier?

– Birce remembers faces easier. If she sees a face, she can connect it to a name, but not the other way around.

18.) Is your character more likely to admire wisdom, or ambition in others?

– Birce admires wisdom in others. She’s a sponge that’s eager to learn about the world around her, especially it’s history.

38.) Is your character more likely to remove a problem/threat, or remove themselves from a problem/threat?

– Good question, she’ll probably remove the threat herself, especially if it’s threatening her friends. If the problem or threat is bigger than herself, that’s when she’ll run.

39.) Has your character ever been bitten by an animal? How were they affected (or unaffected)?

– Birce was bit by a moa once, but it didn’t bother her. She just laughed it off and carefully pried the bird off of her.
